Regular servicing and maintenance of fire safety equipment will help to ensure maximum efficiency and life of your equipment helping you to save money on unnecessary repair or replacement of poorly kept components. By keeping your fire prevention and suppression systems operating efficiently, it will reduce the number of false alarms saving you not only money from disruption but also costs incurred by an emergency service who may charge for excessive call outs resulting from false alarms.

FASS are experienced in servicing and maintaining a range of systems regardless of the system type, manufacturer or installer allowing us to be a complete solution for all your needs regardless of system set-up.

Service Plans

Service Plan 1 – Standard:

This Service is carried out strictly in accordance with British Standards BS 5306-3:2009. The Price quoted includes the general servicing of the appliances, greasing and making free all working parts and firing mechanisms, internal and external inspection to ensure that no corrosion is present. A self adhesive label is affixed to each extinguisher, showing the condition of that extinguisher, details of the work carried out and the date on which the inspection was made. Appropriate paperwork including SRO, defects sheets, parts fitted, is left following each visit, giving details of the extinguishers examined and work carried out.

This fee does not include any spare parts or refills which may be necessary during any service visit.

Service Plan 2 – Enhanced:

This service is carried out strictly in accordance with BS 5306-3:2009.

It includes all consumable parts such as:

All available types of: safety pins/safety clips, head ‘O’ rings/head washers, hose washer/seals, horn washers/seals, anti tamper tags/ties/seals.

The fee does not include any major parts or refills which may be necessary during any service visit.

Service Plan 3 – All In:

This service is completed strictly in accordance with BS 5306-3:2009.

It includes all consumable parts, labour, discharge testing, refills, repairs and any spare parts that are deemed necessary to enable the equipment to remain in working order, providing that this can be completed on our customer’s premises.

Exclusions:

It does not include spare parts and refills that have been misused, lost or vandalised.
It does not include C02 hydraulic testing or replacement extinguishers.

Service Plan 4 – Fully comprehensive:

This service is completed strictly in accordance with BS 5306-3:2009.

This service plan includes all elements of the All In service as seen above, plus any replacement extinguishers due to corrosion, age, fair wear and tear.

It does not include replacement extinguishers that have been misused, lost or vandalised.
