At Fire and Safety Solutions (FASS) we always like to go above and beyond where we can. Whether that’s an exceptional quality installation or friendly advice on the correct fire safety products, doing our best runs through everything we do.
However, we are extremely proud and impressed at the commitment of two of our staff members, Sarah and Charlotte, to do all that they can to raise funds for our nominated charity, The Lisa Kent Trust (http://www.lisakenttrust.org/) by quite literally going above and beyond and throwing themselves off a mountain!
On Saturday 1st June 2019, Sarah and Charlotte will be making the long trek to the top of Babadag Mountain (1,969 m) near Oludeniz in Turkey. Braving the crazy road up, bracing winds, and shear drop; the girls will hurl themselves off the top to take the 40 min descent and hopefully arrive safely into the arms of their esteemed Employers (that’s us, by the way!) on Oludeniz Beach (with a Gin and T in our hands).
FASS have been closely associated with The Lisa Kent Trust for the last 5 years and currently assist 4 children through their education. We would love to be able to raise adequate funds to provide the school in The Gambia with fitted Solar Panels, a project they have been considering for some time, but yet to complete.
To hear a little more about our fund raising directly from Sarah and Charlotte, please take a moment to listen to the audio clip below, taken from a recent interview with the girls on Huntingdon Community Radio.
